That said, JLC and the NFLN broadcast team really smashed ESPN tonight with their coverage.
So did Schefter.
Wish we had a way to grab McCoy
It will cost us our 1st rounder next year, but I'd still give it a 20% chance of happening.
Yes, let's continue to give up picks. It worked for Vinny, no?
no i'm saying if we WANTED to get him we'd have to be majorily aggressive...not saying we are...i don't think we'll be able to trade any of our players honestly.

maybe rocky...but he's prob. worth a 4th in all honestly...same with campbell.

AH could get a suitor for a 2nd rounder...but I doubt it now that Tenn is out o fhte mix.

For just once, I'd like to see us stockpile picks like New England. We always seem to build as if our FO thinks we're only 2 players from being contenders.
If you knew Clausen would be available at 37, do you regret the McNabb trade???
Yeah, but who would have thought he'd slip into the second round? No one predicted that. McNabb was a more prudent move at the time.
yes...in a cocaine heartbeat...cause clausen can play for the next ten or fifteen years...mcnabb...the next 3?
Funny how so many people on this board think that "Big Love" Clausen is the next great one but every single team in the league passed on him.

I watched the whole thing on NFLN. They need Kiper and could get rid of a couple of guys or so. That would be awesome.

Sound familiar:
Clady is also versatile, being able to play on the left or the right. With very good technique, he does needsto add strength especially on his lower body). He also needs to work harder in the weight room, as well as working on his run blocking mechanics.

Clady is a top ten talent. Although Jake Long is the top tackle prospect in this year's draft, Clady has the higher pro ceiling. He is a terrific athlete, but is still learning the position. On talent alone, he is above Joe Thomas (last year's top drafted tackle). A top pick for sure, Clady has the ability to contribute right away. He could anchor an offensive line for years.

If you knew Clausen would be available at 37, do you regret the McNabb trade???
I think we should have had the foresight to not give up the 37th pick in the draft, regardless. I'm sure Philly would have done it for a 2011 first rounder.

Shanahan doesn't seem to eager too move up, that's fine with me

"You never know what's going to happen. You always talk, you communicate and we'll always do that. But we're not going to give up the farm to get a second round draft choice."
