Re: SF Postgame
There is a vet free agent out there that will be available that will be our starter next year ... I LOVE ALEX .. however with his injury ( please don’t tell me it’s not affecting his play) he is a backup .. Haskins needs to put his degree to work cause he can’t play QB at this level.. so we get the vet ( no reaching at number 1 pick for Qb) can’t waste another pick like we did on Haskins..

Good Monday all! Strange to keep starting weeks on a winning note! Bring on the Seachickens. Their Defense is terrible, and they are on the road. Just sayin.....

That’s the one weakness on them, except for their LB’s and CB’s which are solid, no pass rush. |
Poor Dwayne:
Dwayne Haskins said at the end of the game, he had tears in his eyes... Seemed to get a bit choked up thinking/talking about the adversity he's faced this season. No, it wasn't pretty after the 1st drive. Also hadn't played in a couple months.
The team just won its fourth game in a row and took sole position of first place and for Dwayne it was all about himself. That's why he can never be a true leader of men unless or until he grows up. What adversity? He's supposed to be learning and practicing to become an NFL QB. What he has is a rare opportunity but he wants it to be handed to him instead. Dwayne has all the physical tools to be a starting QB in the NFL. What he lacks is the maturity, self-awareness, empathy and work ethic to succeed. If he doesn't see the light, these character flaws will derail his NFL career. |
Re: SF Postgame
We will be drafting middle of the pack next year. So even though there are four quality QB's available in the draft they may not be there by the time we draft. In the first round I would be happy if we took Chris Olave, the outstanding WR from Ohio State to go with McLaurin, the outstanding receiver from Ohio State. While Alabama has some major WR power, OLave runs the best routes of any WR in college this year.

Chase Young = defensive ROY
If we can draft a MLB next year to pair with Holcomb, Bostic and KPL this D would be even more deadly. I love Bostic, but he's a little slow on coverage.
Two consecutive big games by Bostic...maybe the hit which got him ejected and talked to by coaches lit a fire. Bostic has made some big stops on third downs and the int to seal the game against Bittchsburgh |

His degree lol. Any word of Smith? I heard the press conference from yesterday but it was just coach speak. |
Re: SF Postgame
Read this little blurb on nfl.com
Young is one of three rookies since 2000 with 5-plus sacks, 3-plus forced fumbles and a defensive TD in a single season (5.5 sacks, 3 FF, 1 defensive TD) -- others: WAS Ryan Kerrigan (2011) and NO Charles Grant (2002). |

No question. I liked Gibson for offense too if he were able to finish the season strong, but he's got to get back on the field. If not, it's likely J Jefferson. |
Re: SF Postgame
Hard to believe we knocked off the mighty 49ers, listening to the pre game hype all week you would have thought they were undefeated or something. If we had any hint of an offense that game would have been a complete blowout. My brother is a 49ers fan and I offered him a friendly $20 straight up wager before the game and he flat out refused lol.

Kyle Shanny embodies the complete arrogance of the organization The broadcasters as well as fox team kept this constant excuse making “49ers are the most banged up team” or “the injuries continue to mount” Fuck off.....no mention out Starting QB Kyle Allen out for the year and Gibson our starting RB out for multiple games. I still can't believe we won with that offense yesterday.. It was the worst we have seen in a long time lol.. But a Win is a win and I'll gladly take it |
Re: SF Postgame
I don't think enough can be said of that defensive performance. Might be as dominant as we've seen here since '91.
