Re: Around the NFL Week 2
After 2 weeks, Derek Carr has to be the early MVP fave... That dude is straight balling. He'll cool off I'm sure but good for him
Raiders with 2 big wins to start the season and Carr has been the reason. Their defense too has been good. They handled 2 running attack centered offenses. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 2
While I am not comparing WFT to the Chiefs, the two play 75yd TD drive by Heinike looked effortless. Far too easy for many Giants fans lol. That is the sort of QB play we have been missing for some time, the ability to strike quickly. Offensively I like the way we look right now, just run the ball a bit more.[/
If Taylor can improve a few things ( high ball ) he certainly has the moxy, confidence, swagger, and seems to see the field and understands the playbook .. only time will tell .. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 2
If you're the Ravens do you give Lamar a new contract? To me it is a no brainer. He makes that team better.

Yeah…it’s important tho to keep that Greg Roman scheme there as he will be limited in others. The threat of him running is a defining portion of his game |

Yeah people get cranky about his playing style or that he's not a great pocket passer, but he just wins. Gotta pay him. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 2
Got to watch the Chargers-Cowboys and Chiefs-Ravens
Those were some fun games GB v Lions tonight ... meh |
Re: Around the NFL Week 2
Chargers beat themselves, with some help from the refs. 2 turnovers, 1/4 in the red zone, 12 penalties, two TDs taken off the board. Not the same team we saw in week 1.
So far, Dallas is the same team they were last year before Dak got hurt. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 2
Cowboys winning was fun for you?

He has any major lower body/leg injury he is toast. He is not going be in his mid 30s either playing this way. I sign him because there are so few options out there QB wise but the Ravens got know this guy isn't going to last as long as say a Aaron Rogers. |

I think I cheered and yelled harder for the Chargers then I do the Skins tbh Kept the game on for dinner when we always turn it off and do sit down dinner Norman Rockwell style I dont have the nfl pass so I am subject to what ever game is playing on broadcast in my region. Happy I got the 4 pm matchup I was hoping for. |

Yeah, you are right. I think the Steelers want to be more run oriented team but can’t cause the oline is bad. Still, going into Pittsburgh and getting the dub against that defense is a big win |
Re: Around the NFL Week 2
I could care less if Dallas wins against a AFC Team.. Good for them.. Doesn't hurt us any
