While Pittsburg would probably be the most attractive option for Campbell, i dont think Pittsburg would be interested. Tolmlin loves Dennis Dixon and if he didnt quite trust him for some reason, there's always Leftwich, who played extremely well for them in a couple of games in 2008.
Why would Campbell want to go back to college and play for the Gorillas?
For example, a member of the Pittsburgh media shared with us today the latest "Ben is a big jerk" anecdote that's making the rounds. Supposedly, he want into a sub shop this weekend, he ordered $20.07 worth of food, he paid with a $20 bill, and he took seven cents out of the tip jar.
I am sorry , but after the details of the incident were disclosed I am disgusted with this guy. If he were a Redskin I would hope that he left town. He is a bad dude who abuses women. What kind of pro athlete are you or human being for that matter when you try and man handle a woman? drunkin moron. Who has cops for body guards and figures he can get away with anything. Dude is a pos.

4 games is ridiculous, he should have been charged. If the girl didn't blackout the police would have a case. I understand the defense's side of the case and how hard it would be to prove, but OJ got off then got burned in civil court. From the story of the incident described by Lester Munos on NFL Radio this morning with Bob Poppa, I am sickened by the details of not only the girls injuries, but also the fact that Ben's Body Guards (who are police from the State of Pennsylvania and also under investigation btw) wisked the girl to an employee bathroom where Ben then assaulted her. the doctor's reports are much more graphic and don't seem to contain injuries that occur from consensual sex. And on a side note the cop who handled the intial investigantion has resigned for making rude and "inapropriate" comments to the victim.

Suspend the guy as much as you like Goddell.

I honestly don't see how the Steelers keep the guy. They are a stand up city and a good character team don't tarnish the franchise with the guy.

Where is all this about their injuries and the cops stepping down?

Pretty interesting stuff. Ben is guilty of acting like a total dumb ass. But this does not look like rape to me.

How does she know if she was raped or not. She could barely stand.
Campbell is certainly better then Dennis Dixon (60.2 QB rating and 46.2 completion percentage in an offense that saw Ben throw for over 4,000 yards and a 100+ QB rating) and I have little doubt that at this point he's much better then Leftwich but I guess in the end all that matters is what the Pittsburgh front office thinks.
doesnt matter. why waste a draft pick on campbell when they only would want him for 4 games? Dixon's stats dont matter. Tomlinson loves him. Also, TB would likely give up leftwich for a 7th rounder in 2011. Campbell would be more costly.

4 games is a lot. It could easily be the difference in 2 or 3 wins, and remember some pretty good teams in recent years have been left out of the playoffs in the AFC.

Youre assuming that the difference between jason Campbell and Dennis Dixon/Leftwich is two or three wins. Jason Campbell has never, ever in his career been the kind of QB thats a difference-maker. Unless Tomlin has completely changed his mind about Dixon, I doubt he'd view Campbell as someone worth bringing in. You don't trade a 4th round draft pick for a mediocre QB to play a couple of games. Now, if the Steelers plan to trade Big Ben, that changes everything. I could see them trading for Campbell to give Dixon a year or two more to develop.

Yeah but Sproles doesn't care for him

Needless to say BR is such a scumbag loser. Here's to hoping he starts making some wise decisions in regard to who he surrounds himself with. He's dangerously close to going down the Michael Vick path and ruining what is such a promising career.

I think you can start a new thread with this updated info (it doesn't really jibe with the Big Ben Off the Hook Again thread title)

I hope Ben gets traded to Oakland. That would be the most realistic form of justice at this point in this time. Pittsburgh's football fans deserve better, their hockey fans on the other hand....;)
Hey Perry Mason, I hate to burst your bubble but your post was "over 3 times". Over 3 would mean 4 or more.

So now you are citing a PFT report on a case which basically appeared out of thin air and we know zero details of.

I have said over and over again that I think Big Ben did something wrong in GA but to call him a serial rapist is just plain ignorant.
There was another report mentioned in the findings from the GA documents

so that would put it at 4
