i agree with powe with the first pick in the 5th. what about our second one though? if quan sturdavant is there should we take him? what about dwayne harris out of ecu?
Since we haven't addresed NT Powe would be a good pick, same thing w/ Sturdavant, but I'm guessing they won't be around when we pick. |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Stanzi gone to the Chiefs

Stanzi went to the Chiefs for those who have been calling his name

Dude, we still had a few to go to before we got to the top. Skinzwin was going to come back with Linda Cohn, and then I'd throw out Sage Steele, then there might be another one or two THEN we go Erin Andrews. |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Wrong team named after Natives selected Stanzi.

I never said that. Smoot I never said that you have to believe me. Please don't forward this thread. Hannah Storm I love you. |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Williams probably still has a role as a 3rd down back, Davis is probably gone
Well that's good because I like Keiland. I thought he showed us something in the Monday Night Massacre against the Eagles. There's still probably going to be wide open competition for those spots this summer, though. |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Mike Shannahan knows more about what tailbacks fit his system than all of us combined. If he thinks Helu is a good fit then he is a good fit. He is not slow he ran a 4.4. And we dont need him to run for 87 yard touchdowns we need a guy that is consistent, fits the system, and can get you 4-5 yards. Plus he is a good compliment to Torrain, with Williams a capable third down back.
Our RB position is now set, which is a good thing. And we still have a good amount of picks left for other positions. |

What? Jarvis Jenkins will play NT. He was our 2nd round choice. |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
for the next pick I would like to see Jason Pinkston OT Pitt or add depth at the nose tackle position with Jerrel Powe Miss

Still in todays NFL you need depth and assuming everyone comes ready to play the Torrain-Helu-Williams group should be a good one. |

Please send it to the hottest of them all, Traci Wolfson. |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Our next pick better be Pat Devlin or I'm gonna hate this draft foreverz because we clearly did not get the player that we wantz.
|
What? Jarvis Jenkins will play NT. He was our 2nd round choice.
Cant have too many NTs. Plus it would hedge our bet a little if Jenkins doesn't work out. |

So far it has been said he may play DE for us. Though, I did see a quote from him saying he could play NT or DE in a 3-4. |
I was thinking maybe a 3-4 ILB, only because Rocky McIntosh is on my sh*t list. But I'm holding out hope that Robert Henson will come out of nowhere and light it up for us.
Don't forget Rob Jackson, he looked pretty good in the limited snaps he got late in the season, I'd like to see him do some great things. |
Saw Helu play quite a bit at NEB. Solid player not a star RB so I'm a bit surprised
Not going to get too many stars in the 4th round. I too am a Thunder fan, bring on Memphis. Chiefs took Stanzi, bastards. |

You need to watch more college ball. Edit: she does lots of SEC games. Maybe you don't have as many SEC games aired as I do in Mississippi. |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Pats took Marcus Cannon, whom some folks wanted.

I do need to watch more. I usually don't watch CBS. |

Yeah I remember Jackson but for some reason I was thinking he's more of he outside/pass rushing type. Now -- about Perry Riley ... I can't remember, did he see any regular season action? If so, what were the results? |

I edited above: Wolfson and CBS cover many SEC games, and the SEC is...I'll let Dirtbag finish. |
