I did night school there. Fun times. |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 6 Style
Eagles ....
3 top 10 picks next year potentially their pick (2-4) dolphins 1st (1-5) colts 1st (2-4) if Wentz takes 75% of the snaps, so far hes taken like 95% of them not fucking good ... |

@TomPelissero
The #Packers released CB Quinton Dunbar from the practice squad. Is he still any good? |

Re: Around the NFL…Week 6 Style
I understand the case for going for it in that situation.
But live I felt like kicking it was the best option. It was a crazy game where anything can happen, and the Bills had the tools to win it, so to put everything on the line on one play felt kinda unnecessarily risky to me. Hindsight is 20/20 but I that was my live, before the snap, take ^^ Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk
Yeah, I typically lean toward taking the points and playing it safe but I just thought the Bills had a little momentum and being that close to the goal line they should go for it even though that would’ve killed my “other” favorite team’s chances for the win. Good thing I’m not a coach. |

Per The Houston Chronicle.
The Texans and Dolphins are expected to have a deal done this week for Deshaun Watson" |

Re: Around the NFL…Week 6 Style
Yeah, that none of the WFT, Seahawks or Packers think Dunbar is good enough for a practice squad slot is pretty telling.
BTW, Frenchie's post made ma laugh out loud (the middle school math teacher comment). Still laughing, in fact. |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 6 Style
Just saw news that Miami and Houston are talking about Watson trade and apparently it's getting serious as we are approaching the trade deadline.
I would be surprised if the trade happens this year due to the uncertainty in legal issues with Watson.. Unless NFL has insider information that the public doesn't know about. |

Re: Around the NFL…Week 6 Style
Agree. Watched the Dolphins-Jags game and Flores decision to go for it on 4th down and put the Jags in position to win was another bad call. I don't know if it's just my perception but coaches seem to be unnecessarily going for more 4th downs lately and I can't say it's been a great outcome in a number of cases.
Yeah sometimes it might be a case of over "analytics statifying" a situation IMO. Like I understand a chart can tell you the win probability if you do this or that every time in this particular situation but, you're not in this exact same situation that often, so playing the statistical probability doesn't make that much sense to me, what you have to do is win it this one time, now. And for that the context of the game is every thing, and it doesn't appear on your stats chart. But again, in this instance I didn't think it was an absurd choice. Just not the choice I'd have made. I felt like Bills had a better chance of winning if the game went on, rather than putting it all on one play, where anything can happen. |
Per The Houston Chronicle.

I would try and trade for him, see if he could be had for a 3rd rounder. That would also not stop me from drafting someone in the spring. We absolutely must upgrade the QB position. |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 6 Style
I've never been a huge fan of Tua, mostly due to his injury history. He does have the tools to succeed in Turner's offense though, and would be an instant upgrade. His injury history though...

We absolutely must upgrade the QB position.
I saw a tweet that said the Watson deal includes Washington getting Tua. Curious if we send a player and pick to Houston, and Miami sends us Tua. Could make the cost more manageable for Miami.
