How about trying to add 10 top 20 lbs to Collins and move him to MLB?
I dunno but Everett and Curl are the best safety combo we have. Curl coming down and playing the slot in coverage is flexibility we haven’t had at Safety in a long time. Reaves playing over the top has been intriguing. Apke and Collins need to move on |
Am eager to hear more about Alex. He was bad from the get go yesterday. I don't know if he came into the game hurt or what, but I didn't like seeing that leg wrapped up like that, and then seeing him pacing the sideline by himself. Maybe he was just trying to loosen it up...I don't know.
I think he couldn't get loose from pre-game. It's concerning to me because what if this is a lingering issue? Does it have anything to do with the reconstruction? We're kinda in uncharted territory here. If Haskins has to see any extended PT we're in trouble. Eagles came on strong yesterday and it might come down to week 17 to win the division. |
Re: SF Postgame
Everett has been laying the wood. Kurl has been so good.

Re: SF Postgame
if the defense doesnt score twice .. we lose this game. 2 defensive TDs and we had to hang on in the end in a 1 possession game vs a not so great SF team that lost their D nucleus in Fred Warner.
We are taking on more holes than we can patch right now imo. Qb issues, run game limited to predictable outside stretch play calls, zero WR production, 2 games now that McLaurin has been successfully game planned out of it ... |

After all he went through, it's not far fetched to believe that his left leg just isn't cut out for this kind of action, week in and week out anymore. If he can't get loose from pre-game, and he comes out looking like he did from the get go - that's a problem. |

Not if teams bracket him. Logan Thomas is a decent no. 2 option but outside of that it seems like passing success is based of whether Cam Sims is having an on day or an off day. Bracket McLaurin, spy on McKissic and youve effectively shut this offense down. 193 total offense vs the 9ers 344 yards. If Alex Smith can sit back and hit the open guy accurately every single time, this offense is servicable. Our offense seems to be based on making it 3rd and short every set of downs. if every link in the chain is doing its job, its just good enough. Margin of error is just to small. With an inaccurate Alex and no Gibson and no run game and no big chunk plays ... our D is going to be taxed. |
Re: SF Postgame
They need to bring back AGG this week, he’s been practicing the last 2 weeks. Let’s see what he has to offer, play his ass.

Re: SF Postgame
Man, Haskins throw to a wide open Terry in the middle of the field...that shit was so close to a loss. That’s a terrible miss throw...shit gave me a nightmare last night.
A basic throw almost cost us this season |
Re: SF Postgame
If the 49ers would have won, I can guarantee you Kyle had a game ball for Trent for what he endured in Washington and would have rubbed it in. Too bad.
