Snyder is a shit head. He deserves everything coming his way.

He wasn't able to raise enough to buy the Broncos. Washington would sell for $2B more. Not happening. |

I'm sure he's already been back to the drawing board to bring in more $$. Everyone knows this team is going for top dollar. |
Both went to super expensive private schools in DC as kids .... easiest way to get rich is to be born on 3rd base.
----- My brain is telling me this is to good to be true, its going to be a minority deal. Also .. now that Dan Snyder is down in the dumps, seems to have social acceptance anxiety and now all the cool kids are ostrechizing him, under multiple criminal investigations .. I kinda feel bad for him. He was just a super fan who made many mistakes as an owner but I always thought his intentions were good, to win a SB.
I don't feel bad for Dan at all. Everything that is coming down on him is 100% his own doing. Read Dave Paulken's testimony to the House. Gives you a real insight on what type of guy Dan is. What kind of boss asks his employees for cash to get hookers? |

The price isn't what normally scares investors away its the ROI. If $5B in DEN only brings me back $6B but $7B in WAS brings me back $10B; I am spending the extra money for more money down the road. |
Goodell has been very quiet/non committal on all these reports for the last few months, cant help but think he has been quietly pushing Dan towards this position like he did with the name change. Goodell has to have a good idea already as to the likely outcomes of all of these reports and has maybe made the point that Dan will get a better price if he sells the team voluntarily rather than being forced out. Would maybe explain why Dan made such a sudden change of direction on both subjects. Just speculating
I'm sure there's a lot of "stuff" going on behind the scenes that is forcing his hand. 31 other billionaires have had it, and that's a wrap. |
Re: Dan Snyder Hires Bank Of America To Potentially Sell Washington Commanders
I'm not sure what anybody sees in Bezos that could be problematic aside from conflicts of interest that might somehow preclude him from bidding. But he's a very strong businessman and would no doubt give us what we want: someone who would not meddle and would just hire leadership and let them do their jobs.
Bezos is too big to meddle in the affairs of the team. In the end that's all we want, someone that hires football people and gets out of the way. This isn't about who we might end up with, it's about getting rid of the guy who meddled so much. |

It's heartbreaking to think about the 25 years of our fan-lives gone under his ownership, and at the same time liberating and joyous to think that it may finally be ending. |

Totally. I was only 8 when they last won the Super Bowl. I basically don't remember any of it. It would be very joyous to have a fresh start with an actual possibility of not always scraping the bottom of the barrel. |

I would think about buying tickets, even to shitty ass Fed Ex. Just to be one of the fans pulling on the rope to help the new owner make it better. |

Totally agree. |
