meh Eagles were flagged 6 times in the game. Twice in the first half, once in each quarter. Redskins flagged twelve times. 6 in first half and 8 in second two were declined. To me it is more about team discipline than any conspiracy.

Nah. We get the least holding calls in the history of the league and it's the most blatant bullshit I've ever seen. Now wear the damn tinfoil.

Good article where JP Finley interviews Gruden that touches on many of the issues from the past week.

Thanks for sharing the article. I can understand where Gruden was thinking when he decided to keep Peterson inactive for the game now after he pointed out how he believes it is more important to have a 3rd RB who can play special team to help contain Sproles. Not saying that I agree with the move, but I'm not holding it against Gruden.

Yep, we never get holding calls , RK gets close-lined almost every fucking week and NOTHING! Also when is the last time the skins had the ball late in a game and a Flag went our way?? U never see it. The NFL is against the Redskins, it's not an excuse its a fact. We suck either way but there is no sugar coating that

I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next person. But if what you are saying is accurate, then the Redskins would be leading the league in penalties.

I think what he said was actually that we don't get calls in our favor. I wouldn't know where to look, but looking at our opponent's penalties/penalty yards against us versus their numbers versus their other opponents (so looking back a year or two for example) could be an informative way to determine if this is true.

1 week is too small a sampling size to asses. If what is being said is true, where are the Redskins over say the last 3-4 seasons?

I get that. But if what is being said is accurate, then logic would suggest there would be a considerable amount of calls assessed against the team as well. Again, 1 week sampling is not sufficient.

I see that last season the Chiefs led the NFL in penalties and penalty yards. That sure trashed their season, all the way up to the AFC Championship game.

BTW, Redskins were assessed 115 penalties and were 7th in the league in 2018 in penalties.
In 2017, you only had 92 penalties assessed and were one of the least penalized teams in the league and 27 other teams had more penalties called against them.

I'm not much into conspiracy theories against the Redskins by the league...but this certainly doesn't help.

This is what they want, tho. A drone like you referring strictly to the numbers. You're being as naive as they expect you to, no offense. It's not about the volume, or the yards, it's ALLLLLL about the timing of the calls and the impact they have on specific games. Period. It's not rocket science (even tho you want to take that approach in your evaluation).

I would have loved if JP asked the "lack of communication" on defense that lead to the quick scores in the 3rd and how they are going to prevent explosive teams from exploiting that in future games.

This whole thing about Moses being targeted by the league is just dumb. Do your job better. Stop with the loser talk. Point the finger at yourself first.

You and I have been down this particular path before. Think it was the same subject too. And we agreed to disagree.

Even if what you say is true, do you even grasp the depth and complexity of this theory? I don't think you do.

There are 122 officials on the NFL roster for 2019. 122.....

And you truly believe that all 122 all are part of some huge conspiracy to ensure the Redskins do not get favorable calls? And they engineer this around the timing of the game? All 122. Not one of them is the sole voice of opposition? Not one of them has gone to TMZ to provide them with a 'source close to the organization'? You really believe that?

And you call ME NAIVE!?!?!

Occams razor.....
The more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely the explanation.

What makes more sense? That there is this huge complex conspiracy that involves the officials and league offices that because they do not like the team name, they are overlooking calls in key points in the game so the Redskins lose?

Or....

You are looking at this with Burgundy and Gold shaded glasses?
What makes more sense
