Peter King Predictions
SI.com - Writers - Peter Kings' MMQB: With champs facing adversity, contenders step up - Monday September 4, 2006 12:23PM
Yea he predicted the redskins to go 8-8 based on the preseason, and the cowboys to win the superbowl |
Re: Peter King Predictions
Behead the King!
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
the redskins will win at least 11 games.
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
did anybody else notice he said simms will probably be laughing at him when the skins are 10-0 and running away with the division
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
Peter King is an idiot, but I thought it was funny when he said Phill Simms will be laughing at him when they are 10-0.
So give the King a break, he knows he is an idiot. I still don't like the man lol |
Re: Peter King Predictions
beat me to it
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
King is an unabshed Parcells fan so of course he's going to give him and the Cowboys much love.. He also said the Giants could be 0-3 yet will finish 10-6. I'll buy a lifetime subscription to SI if they go 10-3 in any stretch this year. Apparently Joe Gibbs, Al Saunders and Gregg Williams forgot how to coach this offseason since they didn't light up the pre-season (cough cough SPURRIER cough cough) and it means so much..

Re: Peter King Predictions
Ah yes peter king predictions, I was waiting for these all week
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
Man, remember like, back in the day, before pre-season, we actually got some credit. It was so flattering. For the record....
ESPN.com - NFL - Power Rankings week 1 it doesn't mean a thing |
Re: Peter King Predictions

ESPN.com - NFL - Power Rankings week 1 it doesn't mean a thing
i love how number 25, 26, 28, and 29 all made the playoffs and 6 of the top 10 didnt make the playoffs....what a genius |
Re: Peter King Predictions
I like this part:
3. * Philadelphia, 10-6: The Eagles had the best depth in the trenches of any team I saw this summer. Especially on defense, where they're a legitimate four-deep at tackle (Mike Patterson, Brodrick Bunkley, Darwin Walker, Sam Rayburn), and in the interior of the offensive line, which I don't think will get pushed into Donovan McNabb's face as much as it was last year. Remember, the Eagles won 13, 12, 12, 11 and 11 games in the five seasons before last year's injury washout.
Remember last season guys? No you don't because it didn't happen because the Eagles weren't good! Washout! Hey remember how the 49ers have 5 super bowls? Well, they still have Bryant Young, so I guess that makes them the favorite in the NFC. The last ten years are a washout because of that jerkbag Owens and some poor coaching. Washout guys. Theres a reason these dudes can't pick worth a sh-t. EDIT-I like his Lions pick because it's a breath of fresh air compared to the normal biased dribble SI produces as "analysis". He's wrong, Chicago wins the division, but I still like the pick. |
Re: Peter King Predictions
The only REAL power rankings are Brud's.

Why does the guy still have a column? |
Re: Peter King Predictions
Pay close attention to his weekly game predictions during the season. The guy is horrible at picking games, and he picks straight up! I don't understand how he has a job that involves the NFL.

I don't think the NFL gives him a dime. I think his mediot writing is bottom-of-birdcage material. My parrot doesn't read, but he knows what the paper is for! |
Re: Peter King Predictions
peter king is living proof that horsesasses outnumber horses!who gives a damn about anything that brownosing moron says?
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
King can be biased at times and a fool at others, but I'd take him any day over Dr. Z, who is pretty much always a fool.
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
the jets at number 9? wtf?
Edit: wait how old is this? 2005 rankings? oops |
Re: Peter King Predictions
Check out the next page. He has the lions winning 10 games, which should only take them 3 years to accomplish.
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
p. king has cowboy joint balls deep in his mouth. The team I think worries me the most are the giants. Mark my word.... Respect all and fear none.
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
Mr. King can suck on my ****.
Re: Peter King Predictions
peter is king in his own court or is it world....
respect is in order for all but we fear no one...i second that.. peter and pastabelly what a tandem them two are... at the buffet table they are unbeatable.... |
Re: Peter King Predictions
who really cares about their opinions anyway? on sept 11th the real deal starts, and all the bullshit walks. with those 2 its probably straight to the buffet table
|
Re: Peter King Predictions
I love the predictions I'm seein w/King et al. not that we can surprise anybody - coaches & players don't look forward to their date w/us on the schedule- but i like others having low expectations.
One thing these guys seem to often omit is just how hard the skins have fought the last 2 yrs. aside from a couple games, we were in every 1. Nobody wants to play us!!! |
