Vick flipped off a fan

As Vick was leaving the field he gave the finger to a fan, that I guess was booing. What an idiot, I remember his dumbass brother did that in college too. I wonder how much he will be fined.

Anyone think McIntosh might see some action next week considering his strong performance and Vick's mobility?

I don't care who sees action as long as they get after Vick

I'm done with Michael Vick. Most overrated player in sports.

Yep, during camp they switched him over. He's been inactive for most of the season though. He plays special teams too.

I guess if they got in a pinch he's their version of ARE.

I'm a Hokie so I will concede bias, but I don't think he's subpar as a passer at all, I think he has some weaknesses as a passer, namely touch on short to medium range throws. He is a great long ball passer, but his wr's never seem to give him any consistency. A few weeks ago he was lighting it up in the air.
He does have problem managing the game when the D can throw a lot at him, but since our front 4 played so well today, I don't expect GW to bring pressure initially. He is fumble prone in the open field, ST will surely pop one loose if he gets a clean angle.
Overall, Vick can be really tough to defend even if he has ups & downs. I just hope the D brings the kind of game they had today.

I agree that he is Kordellish. However, I would rather go against Shaub if I'm a defense. Vick is capable of creating explosive plays and you have to be extremely disciplined in your attack. If I were Greg Williams, I wouldn't sleep very well this week.

They should have ARE run the scout team in practice to get our D-Line ready to contain, contain, contain. I don't think you can really spy him, because he'll just run past the spy. You have to play coverage and hope he makes bad decisions or is innacurate. If you blitz, blitz with speed guys off the edge. I think it's a daunting task no matter what happened today. If anything today's events would only make me more nervous. Thank God Williams is arrogant.

Well he did apologize for that. But he did make some interesting post-game remarks-talking about how he just runs the plays the coaches tell him to run, he doesn't call the plays, and maybe guys need to start catching the ball, maybe the guys up front need to start doing a better job of blocking.

Didn't he also say he needs to get the ball out sooner? I didn't pay close attention but I got the impression he spread the blame everywhere including himself.

Well, he doesn't actually PLAY WR for the 'Phins. He's rostered as an emergency 5th-string WR and a backup KR to Welker...who won't be benched.

He hasn't seen the field yet this year. :benched:

PS - anyone else bringing a Ron Mexico sign to the game?

Re: Vick flipped off a fan

Gotta blitze vick from the edges, then he starts dancing back and forth and turns the ball over. If you give him the sideline he will murder us. We need a good game out of marshall and ST in the middle against crumpler, you think campbell doesnt throw to the wideouts, wait till u see vick. But of course the key is to slow down warrick dunn, worrying about vick too much can create gaps in the D, enabling dunn to sneak through. Stop Dunn, and you can stop the falcons.

I don't know what was said that triggered Vick's reaction so I'm not gooing to criticize him for it. I did see Jim Moron Jr on his knees like a little baby though. That guy is a retard. Seriously, he doesn't belong in the NFL, he cares more about having fun then winning football games.

If we beat the Falcons this week, Mora might not make it to the end of the season.

Re: Vick flipped off a fan

For the record: yes, Vick did say he needs to get rid of the ball quicker. He also acknowledged that sometimes he can't control the throws the way he would like to.

Also, he watched Roddy White drop a TD. Roddy White drop a ball where he stood in and got destroyed, it was like 50 yards and there was no one within 5 yards of White, he just dropped it. Jenkins had a drop. There were 5, but those 3 were just bad. Even Alge Crumpler was flipping out on the field when the drops were happening.

As for him flipping off the fans...not much excuse for that. However, you never know what the guy said. It depends on what the fan said. You never know. Maybe someone went "Kramer" on him...hmmm...might be too soon for that one.
