What If........

We had Drew Bledsoe instead of Brunell? Hear me out before you lock the thread. In NE, Bledsoe was the starting QB, he goes down, and some no name 6th round draft pick starts for him. Bledsoe then goes to Dallas, gets replaced by some no name. Both QBs are playing very well right now, to say the least. Maybe Bledsoe, though immobile, maybe a damn good mentor to young QBs.

Re: What If........

So are you trying to ask would it be better if we had Bledsoe as a backup instead of Brunell? If so, Brunell knows this offense so he can teach and guide JC thru the bumps along the way. And even for starting QB's i'll take Brunell over Bledsoe simply b/c of the mobility and ability to get rid of the ball.

Re: What If........

you saying what if we got Bledsoe, he would not be able to show up for home games becuase he would be booed out of the stadium, away fans would be nicer to him then we would

Not to be a stickler about details or to stray from the point your trying to make (whatever that might be), but Bledsoe went to Buffalo before he arrived in Dallas.

Re: What If........

He is trying to say Bledsoe "breeds" really good QBs like Romo and Brady.....

Re: What If........

Did Bledsoe breed JP Losman too? If he did I hope he got his money back.

Re: What If........

I really don't think Bledsoe was a very good mentor to Romo at all. Haven't you read his blog? Redskins Warpath

Bledsoe's no mentor by any accounts I've read, he's just lost his job to young guns at each stop.

So how long did you sit around thinking of things to start a tread about? We should have a form for what if threads so we don't clutter up the main board with what if's that have no meaning.

Bledsoe sucks and has a big contract, I'm glad we didn't get him.

The only point I was trying to make was that in recent history Bledsoe's backups have seemed to suceeded in the NFL. Is it possible that had we brought Bledose to Washington that Campbell would have been better mentored and would've been ready to start earlier, aloowing us to be in serious playoff contention right now.

Didn't like the thread? Tuff, Suck a left nut

No reason for your last comment there.

Personally I still don't understand the point of your thread. Are you saying Bledsoe is some sort of great mentor?

Bledsoe has very little, if anything at all to do with Brady or Romo's success.

I thought it was supposed to be a joke, but I have a very odd sense of humor, so I might be wrong.

Wow! Ouch! That was harsh. Just for that you've been removed from Question 3 Idolatry. Unable to fulfill your duties as Q3 Idol, I am hereby passing the crown onto JoeRedskin.

Didn't like the thread? Tuff, Suck a left nut
But you only had 2 cases as evidence...so it could very easily be coincidental (in almost all cases). On top of that, you left out a case where his mentoring wasnt so great.

It's an interesting observation you made, but nothing more.
