So which one should I wear during the HOF induction?
 

I'll be in Canton so, have to do this right. Which one do I wear during the actual induction ceremony? Votes will be counted by a reply w/ your vote. HIGH QUALITY PICS SO I CAN MAKE VOTING EASIER!

I say cut both shirts down the middle and sew them together, that way you have either 28 or 81 front or back depending how you wanted to show (just kidding). Of course I wouldn't cut either of them up :) Put the 81 jersey during Art's speech and the 28 jersey during Darrell's speech.

I can't find an authentic Monk like that one. I have a 94 jersey like yours, but mine is Ricky Ervin. I would love to have that DG...very nice.

I'll be at induction ceremony. I've got both #28 and #81. Thought about wearing both respectively when they are inducted. Thought about a suit with my Redskins lapel... Dunno. Biggest thing is I'll be there and I'll probably cry.

The DG jersey is very cool - I liked the throwback uniforms. That said, I like the suggestion to bring both and change based on which is about to give his induction speech.

This might sound crazy but you could wear a Sean Taylor jersey. (21)

The 2 represents the first digit on DG's Jersey. (28)

The 1 represents the last digit on Monk's jersey (81)

The way I see it. ST's jersey would have arrived to Canton one day anyway.

I was at the Redskins store and asked if they were going to re-issue some Monk jerseys and the lady told me that Monk won't sign off on any new licensing so there would be no HOF Monk jersey.

You lucky bastard! You can't go wrong with either jersey. Darrell Green is my all-time favorite, but Art Monk has been passed over too many times and needs the love. If I had to choose, it would be #81 out of respect. Hold up #28 while Darrell Green is being inducted.

Why do you go for the Cowboys then?? I'm interested in the uh...psyche of Cowboys fans that aren't from anywhere near Dallas and live in or near a city with a football team.

Pearson, etc. I liked the uniforms, the colors and everything.

I guess when you are little and the majority of your immediate family is Cowboys fans, you tend to sway that way when you are a child. My father is a SUPER DIE HARD Redskins fan. One of the strangest things I've ever seen was the fact that my little brother was a Cowboys fan until he was about 8 years old, then out of nowhere he became a damn Redskin fan.

My younger brother is now 32 and he has bled B&G ever since. I don't understand that.

As to your other comment, again I'm from D.C., not from Texas, but I have been to more Cowboys games IN TEXAS STADIUM, than some Skins fans have been to RFK or FedEx Field. I'm a bonified fan Homey!
