Should have brought back Jon Jansen. Anyway let the facepalms fly. Lets see if we can get 4 in a row.

Edit: Sooooo close. Just tied the record.

He is an expert and will be able to tell what a team needs. His record shows it.

Reciever, Cornerback, Linebacker, Safety, and QB. Maybe D-Line if he gets a hold of some really good coke.

It's alright. We failed to set a new record thanks to a CERTAIN Skins fan in TEXAS.

Re: Cerrato joins ESPN draft team

John Clayton "Well the Redskins got Russell Okung with their first rounder..."

Vinny "Well they could have traded away their first rounder next year and moved up to get Jimmy Clausen.."

JC: "But Vinny he got drafted well after Washington picked, they clearly didn't want him and passed on him..plus they don't have an offensive line to protect him"
VC: "Ya, well thats just poor drafting on their part"
JC: "Vinny you realize you are the reason why their OL is in such a bad spot right now and why they're drafting at 4th overall is because their offense was so bad because of the OLine, which had no depth or youth, which was your job to draft those OLineman, instead trading those picks for washed up veterans.."

VC: "...they should still get clausen..."

So Vinny, what did you think of the Skins #4 pick of the Tackle Okung.

Well, I think they really should have gone Dez Bryant, but they still have their 4th and 5th pick to get a few more receivers.

If i have to watch a draft with Boomer and Vinny my head might explode.

Dirtbag59 04-13-2010 07:43 PM

Re: Cerrato joins ESPN draft team

Actually hiring Vinny is genius. Redskin fans may be less interested due to the limited number of picks they possess but with Vinny in the fold Redskin fans will be curious to see if he's nearly as dumb as they believe him to be.

WOOP! WOOP! Yeah, I know what you mean. It's alright though they have Gruden and NFLN has Rich and Mayock. If it was up to me I would have Rich, Gruden, Tom Jackson, Mark Schlereth, Jaws, Mayock, Kiper, and Schefter. Guest appearance by Hannah Storm.

Why in the hell would Cerato be on the draft team??!! Fkn hilarious. Never Never Never draft Olinemen. Complete waste of time. They don't make your team any better.

ESPN really scraped the bottom of the barrel. Heard Vinny on the radio the other day i could feel his eyeballs popping out over the radio.

Vinny vs mel Kiper ? Mel , " you never drafted OL Vinny " , You don't know what on Ol is !!! Vinny , " who the hell is M. Kiper " has he ever worn a jock ??? LOL !!!! I guess Matt Millen will also be needed for his " expert " opinions on how to draft ?

Re: Cerrato joins ESPN draft team

Cerrato relied on Joe Bugle to "coach-up" a bunch of undrafted gems, mostly ex-Maryland Terps, and other veteran "diamonds in the rough" that the other 31 teams didn't realize still had gas in the tank. Bugle failed to produce.

I agree with every single negative comment about Vinnie on this thread.
He almost single handedly has brought down the Redskins to the point where the Cowboys and Giants have been DOMINATING us. He is such a pathetic excuse for a football mind.

How desperate is ESPN that they can't find quality analysts with even a modicum of a respectable resume? Geez, how is any NFL fan going to learn anything constructive?
Idea; put Mike Ditka and Vinnie Cerrato together, and let them judge every team's draft picks, now that will be a hoot.

Hmmm, I wonder if Smootsmack had anything to do with it. Usually when something goes wrong I blame him, it just makes life easier.

Re: Cerrato joins ESPN draft team

How does this guy keep landing new gigs when he was such a joke? He will still tell you that he gave Zorn a playoff caliber roster. Then again, wasn't it Vinny who convinced Snyder to throw Gregg Williams overboard and promote Zorn from O-coordinator to head coach before Zorn had called a single play in the NFL? Sounds like an ESPN expert to me.

Re: Cerrato joins ESPN draft team

One man's trash is another man's treasure. I guess the economy is turning around if you can employ incompetent NFL VPs of Football Operations who had never lead a team to the promised land let alone a division title in the last ten years, well I guess you guys at ESPN are doing something right.

tootergray34 04-13-2010 11:40 PM

Re: Cerrato joins ESPN draft team

I think we all agree'd that cerrato was gone once snyder asked him if he handed the reigns to a playoff caliber team to coach zorn and he replied "absolutely" ...

but, didn't he work for ESPN before he joined the skins too? not too sure about that though.

This confirms that I will be watching NFL Network. No way could I sit and watch Cerrato, Mayock and Mel Kiper.
