I'm lovin' the new rookie wage scale. Thinking about Cam Newton possibly only making 22 mil for 4 years and all that extra money saved from the wage scale going to better causes, i.e. vets who deserve it, makes me a happy camper. Hopefully 11 more deals get done soon so we can get all our rooks into camp on time.

I wouldn't be so sure. He was a ST beast in college which could give him the nod over one of the veterans if he shows enough potential.

I hope that rookie signings stay this calm next year when the offseason is back to it's normal length. 3 days and nearly all the leagues rookies are signed. That's pretty good!

I was thinking it was based on the rookie wage scale, but the above is probably just as much if not more of a factor. I guess we will find out if next years signings go as smoothly.

I think the new CBA makes it a lot easier to sign the rookies now.

We usually don't have an issue with holdouts anyway. Good to see everyone is ready to roll.
