Re: 1994 Starter Authentic D.Green TBTC Jersey
The jersey itself was a Shuler...I stripped the numbers off and sent it to get customized...all in all, considering the rarity of Starter TBTC jerseys, it cost be about $200 all told. I'm very happy with the results.
That is part 1 of 3 'Skins jerseys I sent to get customized. Thank you guys for the kind words so far! |

I've customized quite a few of my jerseys. I like to change the sleeves so they truly look authentic. I've also bought a couple blank jerseys and made them into players I couldn't find at the time. (Lavar his rookie year and a Riggins) But I haven't totally striped one down. Don't the numbers leave any kind of residue behind? |
Re: 1994 Starter Authentic D.Green TBTC Jersey
You can only strip tackle twill numbers. And yes they do leave residue from the glue used to help anchor the number to the jerseys, however, a hot water wash usually does the trick. Heat press and screen printed numbers are virtually impossible to strip as they're basically bound to the jersey itself.

Thanks for the advice I'll give it try. |
Re: 1994 Starter Authentic D.Green TBTC Jersey
Beautiful jersey. Where did you send it to have it customized? I just bought a blank jersey off of eBay and will be buying one of the name/number kits (haven't decided on which player yet) and don't know who I could get to sew it on.
