2 things that are really bothering me

1. I hate to think about this but I wonder if anyone in the Redskin organization HAS ACTUALLY ASKED THE NFL to move the game. Every time Gibbs or Snyder gets asked they say something like "well Im not sure that can be done or Ive been focused on the bills . . ." Fine understood. Youre telling me there isnt someone else that can do it? I would love for the Skins to release a statement saying WE ASKED THE NFL TO MOVE THE GAME AND THEY SAID NO. I know there are other coaches that would INSIST the game get moved, go public, make their case . . .Im not asking for that (althoughI would like it. I just want someone to ask!

2. Gibbs is a pushover, hes so distant, comes across as so disinterested. Did you hear him talking about the 10 man tribute to Sean in the press conference. HE DIDNT EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT!!!. He commented something to the effect, "I cant comment on that until I talk to Gregg" What the hell is up with that? How can there be so poor communication between coaches that a move like that is not passed by him?

Dont get me started with the timeout thing. "I asked the ref if I could do it and what he said seemed like a yes but I take full resposibility" He sounds like a little kid who is trying to take the blame but wants us to know that other kids were involved. He has to be losing respect among some playes and based on the fact the 10 man tribute wasnt even cleared with him prior to doing it . . .from his coaches as well.

i 100 percent agree, i knew about the 10 man tribute on thursday. We were discussing it on here. How did we all know and Coach Joe not.

For what it's worth, I've heard that it's not that Gibbs was not aware they were thinking of doing it. He just never actually gave the final ok for it. But, at the same time, he does give Williams total autonomy on defense.

I don't believe for one minute any of the players or coaches worth a damn have quit. The fans? Sure plenty of them have, but I lost what little respect I had left for most Redskins fans today during the moment of silence. So who cares about them

Don't we have basically this exact same thread elsewhere?

In my book they are now tied with Eagles fans as worst in all of sports.

Given what this organization has been through this past week, I can practically excuse most anything they have done that wasn't "normal."

I wasn't there, but it sounded on TV as if a single voice shouted "we love you Sean" and there was a brief cheer. It certainly didn't sound like the entire stadium ignored the request for silence.

Yeah, we weren'y there either but my wife said she heard the exact same thing on TV. Hopefully the majority displayed respect during the moment of silence.

can anybody shed light on us asking the NFL to move the game?

FWIW, I agree, FROM MY LIVINGROOM it certainly didnt come across as disrespect, simply a fan yelling we love you Sean

I just can't find any excuse for anyone to be chanting anything during a moment of silence. Call it stubborn and thick-headed, I just don't see it.

Of course, they had no problem hooting and hollering while the players were in the red zone...and then being silent when the Bills were on offense most of the game. This is what I heard at least.

And then today, of all days, to be booing the coaches and players. Give it a fucking rest you morons.

I could have sworn I read/heard somewhere that we decided not to ask. This was on Friday I think

Seriously, did they really?? If so, and you were there to actually hear that, well, that really blows. I don't care what the coaches and players did wrong today, they all get a pass from me considering what they've endured.

I'm too emotionally exhausted to verify, but I believe I read that also in Redskin's Insider last Friday.

I REALLY doubt they were booing the players. I definitely know they were booing Gibbs for that bogus timeout at the end. But I think 99% of fans are very sensitive to everything that has happened and its probably best to ask people who went to the game what the booing was all about.

I really really hope it wasn't at the players. I'd like to think that we as fans have more sense than that.

A couple of people that I know were at the game told me they heard players getting booed as the game was ending/over. "You suck Campbell" "F You Laron" Things of that nature
