I remember in highschool we had a competition between all the defensive player over who got to wear 00. But you never see it in the NFL is it not a valid number.

I know I've never seen it... I know I have in College though...

in th 70's a wr for the houston used to wear 00 but i cant remember his name

I found this about jersey numbers and it appears that the #00 is not reconized by the leauge.

Jim Otto of the Raiders wore it in the 60's and early 70's

Bugsy Bagaris was the Redskin who wore this number. Hopefully I did spell his name correctly. Did not even look it up I just know Redskin Trivia
