Post FA and Draft Depth Chart
 

This depth chart lists by position. It includes individuals expected to compete for roster spots, but ignores many people way down on depth chart. It could therefore obviously contain errors if dark horses emerge or frontrunners falter, but gives a good brute force sense of current state of roster. Players are listed at one position only. Preference in slotting is given to younger players with upside or draft picks, which again may introduce error. New additions are marked as FA or R. Players we resigned are not listed as FA. The purpose of this post is to just present the roster with minimal commentary, which is left to other posters.

Stats:
10 draft picks
1 UDFA
If all 11 rookies make team, which of course almost never happens, that is 20% of 53-man roster.

11 FA signed
Some are 1 year players for lower end of depth chart, doubtful all make team, but if they did, 20% of 53 man roster.

Conservatively, if about 16-18 make the team that is almost a third of the roster new players!

Safety and TE are areas I'd like to see some more depth. I'd kick the tires on Hurst if Atlanta is not picking up his 5th year option.
