The people who are against it don't just find the name "Redskins" offensive, they find any use of Native American imagery or stereotyping (ie the Indian's logo or the tomahawk chop) offensive. As BaltimoreSkins said, they find the term Redskins to be the most offensive of the bunch so they are going after that first and then hoping it cause a domino effect and everything else will change.

So they find the framed picture of medicine crow in my living room offensive? I disagree entirely. I think the name "Redskins" has everything to do with this. I would understand your point if we were talking about nazi germany. How any reference or imagery of nazi-ism could be seen as offensive, but this is completely different. There is absolutely nobody up in arms about the use of native american imagery? Hell you can go to any reservation or any part of the country with a native american presence and buy native american art, imagery, head dresses, statues, etc etc etc. from native americans.
