Let's not pretend that John Elway, as good a quarterback as he was, has any talent with regard to evaluating quarterbacks. With the exception of Peyton Manning (duh), he has failed continuously at finding one. Case Keenum had no chance last year. Their receiving corps was worse than ours, and they had no TE to speak of.
