When you draft a premiere QB in the first round you are committing the franchise to work with him for 2-4 years . Coach him up, build around him, and give him the real chance to win over that period!

I’m discounting any Redskins coaching reports on Haskins. We have one of the worst teams in the NFL -largely due to piss poor coaching. ALL of the coaches will be gone next year with a new HC and his new staff and the old coaches know it. So it’s not above some outgoing coaches to anonymously trash talk the Redskin’s top two draft picks as a final “f-u” to Bruce Allen and Snyder. Slight possibly to be true but probably not!! Haskins will improve and could be the first real chance to be our franchise QB in over 30 years!!
