1) You're right there are more out there............but even more inside and not out there.
2) For many that is a reality, ...that is the truth of today's kids . Wife and two daughters are all school teachers and know as fact the the only times some of their students get outside time is at school.
3) Wrong there were video games back then ...I know I bought "Pong" for my Dad and hooked it up to his "tube "TV. All my kids grew up on Nintendo and Mario and they are 39,36 and 32 respectively
4) Yes, you're right .Yet it was that way when my wife and I had our three kids and we both worked it's called sacrifice and you find ways to make it work for the best of the kids.
