I have no idea what the Skins should do here ... but ... I'd rather use the room in our salary cap over the next couple of years keeping our D-Line as in tact as we can, as those rookie contracts expire.
Which means finding your QB in the draft. Having them learn from Alex Smith? That's pretty ideal too.
I like the ND State kid for upside. Athletic enough to pass and run. No INT's in a season? That's hard to do at any level. Will he be around though? Probably not.
I like Mac Jones from Bama.
Beyond these two, nothing really excites me of the upper tier college QBs.
Could we find a Russell Wilson later on? Maybe ... but it's hard to count on that.
I think we have found our main TE in Logan Thomas. I wouldn't spend early draft picks on that position, focusing instead on LB, CB, QB, OLine, and WR.
