Of these two guys, I prefer Darnold. He's only had Adam Gase coaching in the NFL, which may be why his talent has been wasted. So a bounce back is more likely with him, than with Mariota, who has been around a while.

Get one of these guys, draft a QB in the middle rounds, and let them all compete to see who makes up the QB room next fall. I like Heinicke a lot .. I've never been sold on Kyle Allen, which may not be fair. He was doing ok before he got Theismanned. Maybe he blossoms into something. But the competition would be great to have, especially in a year where we should get a better off season to actually see who can win the jobs.
