3. The WFT may trade a mid-draft pick of 2022 for a BACKUP QB from maybe the Packers or some other team. A young guy to add to the competition.
What this does for the team. The WFT can use the draft and FA to fix some of their Big HOLES:
FA: WR, LB, S , TE in that order.
Premiere WR to balance against McLaurin. This will open up the offense. Big bucks.
A very good LB: an all around, very good LB who can stay with the TE, WR and stop the run. Medium cost
A good S in case Collins sucks. Lower cost
Draft: drafting for the OL to protect Heinicke
First Round: OT best available. Time to get youth and power into the OL.
Second round: CB or TE
Third Round: OG - to replace Scherff if a long-term deal can’t be worked out.

I feel like the biggest hole
is QB. RR made it clear after the season that the QB position is “one of the most important things that we need to get done and get established”. They have made it clear that they want to upgrade at QB, and have they already shown that they are pursuing other options, so I don't think they begin the season with TH and KA battling it out.
