I would definitely pay him 12M per for 2 years with essentially a team option for a 3rd year.

I keep repeating myself but I feel like we our doing a standard normal approach to a unique offseason in which we were perfectly situated and prepared for.

Shrunk cap + half the teams cant go after big name players + cap should explode in next couple of years = sign some of these 3 year deals which are really 2 year deals that also have low 2021 cap hits.

We were supposed to TAKE ADVANTAGE of this situation .. instead we are sitting around making sure all our drinks have fucking coasters underneath them on our coffee table while saying starting corners never made 10 million in my day.

Its like we saved all this money to invest in stocks one day waiting for the right time, then covid hits and theres bargain all over the place to be had by people who saved up their money ... but we decide we want to be in the CD and bond business instead.
RR brought back Fuller for 10M/yr, so I don't know if that is the case.

Still a lot of time left and many players still to be had in free agency. We're just getting started. We can expect more cuts before the deadline too.

It's a measured approach...be patient my friend.
