Are you from NJ originally? Always interesting to here about how people became Skins fans. I'm from CA, never even been to the D.C. area, and don't even remember specific plays from Gary Clark or the Redskins thru our last super bowl victory, but I've loved these bastards for at least 30 years now. And Gary Clark is still my favorite player ever. Although, if we extend McLaurin, I think he will finally get bumped. He had a great run.

Yeah he sacked out at the wrong time.
Yes im from Jersey but I have a lot of relatives from Maryland. My father had like 5 or 6 aunts down there, cousins, etc. So we were always down there. My one aunt was a huge fan. Still have some really cool memorabilia she gave me.
But before that around 6 years old my mom took me to the mall. There was a rack of these nfl team jackets. They had the fake leather sleeves, with the team patch on them. Sleeves were one color, jacket another. So Skins had burgundy front with gold sleeves. If you remember the 70’s you might remember the jackets. Anyway, they had every team. I was digging that jacket. Probably liked the indian. In 1977 cowboys indians was a big neighborhood game. Lol. I liked being an Indian. News traveled to Maryland family from my folks (Eagles season ticket holders) that I was a trader. But I became thee favorite relative from NJ. We went to every Eagles game for years. I wore my Skins garb to every one. Vividly remember people asking my parents what happened to me. Lol.
