Houston is the PERFECT opportunity for a head coach! Why?
Even if he finishes his very first season at 7-9 or 8-8, he will be considered a huge success, that team has
no where to go but up. Not to mention the best player, practice and game facilities in the league, and an awesome front office that will let him call the shots.
They are probably going to finish 2-14 for the season and get the first overall pick in the draft. Williams will have a shot at Reggie Bush -or- using his savy, he can use Bush as trade bait. He could easily trade down in the draft and accumulate a whole bunch of top draft picks for the next 2 years by trading down and letting Bush go elsewhere. Not unlike when Jimmy Johnson traded Herchel Walker to the Vikes and accumulated all those picks that built the core players for Dallas's Super Bowl years in the early '90's.
I have to disagree about Houston being the wrong situation, it has got to be the best.
