If they beat Dallas, they sit at 3-5, possibly 2.0 games out of first. With 8 games to play, and a team this talented in a division this close, it's too close to give up here at 2-5. The division leader is currently 4-3.
He's inconsistant and he has no killer instinct. Someone mentioned the thumbs up... I remember when Jeff George was behind center and he had that grimace when he effed up... Brunell has that same thing... like it stings a little, but no big deal...

darn it... gonna lose again... at least I didn't throw an int...

And thats why the QB's who lack all of the physical gifts (Delhomme, Brees, Favre, etc...) excel, because they play with passion and want the game on their shoulders. They are playmakers. Brunell is a manager... not a playmaker. And he's not managing anything now....
