He does say around this part that he thinks Al can "help" the team, but it sure seems vague and not like a vote of confidence to me.
Doesn't it mean something very significant that he didn't say it was the right decision to have Saunders make the play calls... only that the decision was made the right WAY, and for the right REASONS; but he didn't say it was RIGHT. Big difference!!

I really didn't get that from his press confrence but I may not have picked up on it either, but all I can say is if Gibbs is knocking Saunders after the way the offense has performed over the last 2 years I have to laugh, he must think it's still 91' We barely made the playoffs and the fact that we did had nothing to do with our offense it was our defense that kept us in games and then carried us into the playoffs and into the second round.
Gibbs just can't admit his rolex is fake.
