The guy who should be pissed is Big Mike, because Duckett being brought in demonstrates that the team doesn't have a whole lot of confidence in him to carry much of a load, which is absurd. OTOH, Joe didn't really use Betts at all when he first got here, either, and I think at one point after a preseason game where Ladell tore it up he was quoted as saying "Wow, I didn't know Ladell was that fast" or something.

Anyway, Duckett is almost assuredly gone next season but it is mystifying why we don't give it to him near the goal line for some downhill skull-cracking.
