Yes, you need to run to control the clock, i agree, but you should make calls to try and score. I dotn car eif you are up by 28, you never know. Exactly, I am glad I am not the only one who thinks like this. Just running the ball a million times just eats up clock, BUT it keeps teams in the game. I kinda admire how Al wanted to finish off the Falcons last game, but unfortunately the plays could not be executed.

As the great Herm once said "You play to win the game" lol. Period, you dont play to hold your lead and milk the clock like a little baby. You go all out and try to destroy teams.

Back in the day Gibbs offense did run alot, but they passed too, and they always finished off teams(see the scores of games from those season, most are like 40-10). That doesnt seem like a team that just runs all the time.
