The only problem is, our offense just wasn't to the point where it could execute every play he pulls out of his playbook. I believe the lesson to be learned is, we do have to establish an identity and this offense needs to learn what it can do best within Saunders' scheme. I think once that happens, then you can slowly work that since of unpredictablity into the mix.

Yeah, I was talking to my Physics professor about the redskins today after class. He kept saying how the redskins of old would be ready for the team to try and adjust to them.
He went on to say that teams would come out and when something didn't work, they tried to switch strategies, but Gibbs was always prepared. It was almost like he could see the future and know what was coming. He argued that possibly Gibbs was getting old (I noted the complexity of modern offenses), but then he mentioned Dallas with man boobs finally starting to have some success.
Finally I ended it with comparing Gibbs to Vermeil, who had success with KC, with Saunders as his OC as well. We agreed on some hope there, and both think that not building through the draft was a mistake.
Hopefully we'll play our cards right for next season... I don't even remember the last Superbowl. :-(
I want to still be in school for the next one (2 more years)... Crossing my fingers.
