I say they let Pucillo and Kendall duke it out at guard.

It seems the Kendall pick-up solves several problems. First, Kendall will, without any doubt, be our starting LG by next week. Despite what the Jets are saying the guy is a starter all the way and has started all but 2 games since he came into the league (excluding injury scratches, which were minimal).
With PK at guard, Wade can shift back to his natural position and back-up Jansen. Some say Wade is better than Jansen, but regardless of who starts, you have high quality depth there. Hoyer is getting valuable experience and looks like he's got the goods to be a quality LT once he gets some more experience under his belt, which gives us solid depth at LT when Samuels comes back.
Seems to me this acquisition solved more than one problem, and the cost was minimal (who would expect a 4th round draft pick to start at LG?). Obviously I am concerned about PK's contract affecting our ability to sign Cooley to the extension he deserves, but I have a feeling we'll work around that.
