From ESPN on Alexander: Alexander, who went undrafted out of California, hasn't played both ways in a game since high school, but he caught the eye of the offensive coaches last year when was signed to the practice squad and ran plays for the scout team. He worked out with the offense during spring practices before returning to the defensive fold for training camp.
If you want to see the whole article where I found that info:
ESPN - Redskins play 'What's My Line?', make Alexander 2-way player - NFL
So guess I have to ask you the same question you asked me....Can't you read?
Meaning he was on the practice squad LAST YEAR he was in our active DT rotation THIS YEAR... i dont see what your confused about i mean you said and i quote "I mean I read today that the Redskins promoted a 300 pound DT from the practice squad and made him a LG"
come on Jack... That was waaaay to easy, your not helping your cause!

Did I say anywhere at anytime in any thread that he as on the practice squad THIS YEAR? Nope.
Just said he was a practice squad DT that was made a LG because of the devastation that is the Redskins offensive line.
Speaking of "helping causes", how much is THIS move going to help Joe Bugels cause?
