1. How do you know that?
2. If that's true, how come he left football for NASCAR for about a decade?
My point was that there is no real motivation for him to "step down" and leave approximately $5M on the table. He has the job set up for him in such a way that it is hardly the most difficult one in the area - and the money ain't bad.
Oh, and he still has time to "oversee" his NASCAR enterprise too.
