It has been a while since I've posted to The Warpath because I've been a bit frustrated with the season so far. I have been checking up on here to see what the vibe has been among fans as the season has progressed.

As I was driving home I was listening to the John Thompson show on 980 and was touched by all the Redskins fans that were calling in with tears in their eyes and sadness in their voice.

It is just incredible to me that for many of us, this team and the guys on the team are more than just people we watch on TV - we actually develop a sort of connection with them through the things we read and discuss.

I wanted to take some time and simply express my condolences. Right now none of this is about football really, it is about a tragedy and I really hope and pray for the best.
