Re: 2 things that are really bothering me
As I have said before, the "cheering" that occured during the moment of silence was directly attributed to a guy yelling, "we love you sean!". I do not think those that cheered meant any disrespect, they simply burst out (briefly) at the cry of what most were thinking. That is just my take, and I was there, for what its worth.
As for booing the players, maybe it happened (to a small degree) but iit certainly did not happen on a widespread basis- don't judge the whole based on the actions of a few. While I disagree with booing, I do believe its each individual fans right- these are proffessional athletes and coaches- we pay their outrageous salaries. I realize and agree that it may have not been the time or the place, but these people invest their time, money, and emotions into the redskins, and I can identify with their urge to react, however untimely.

in writing these daily letters and trying to make them interesting it is always possible that some sentiment may occur which has not received the severe and deliberate scrutiny and reconsideration which should attach to a State Paper.
