Todd Archer, of The Dallas Morning News, reports the Dallas Cowboys tendered restricted free-agent RB Marion Barber III Thursday, Feb. 28. The Cowboys placed the $2.562 million tender on Barber which requires any team that signs him to give up a first-round and a third-round draft pick if the Cowboys do not match the offer.

lots of big news here. browns bid against themselves for anderson, tendered him (1st and 3rd to get him for another team), and now really hard balling him (they do have quinn, but anderson is stupid not to take the money, unless he knows he can get a 5 year deal elsewhere...
