Mike Preston, of the Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens CB Samari Rolle (epilepsy) has been cleared to play in 2008 and has restructured his contract. Rolle said his contract was restricted around his playing time and conditions related to epilepsy. There was speculation that Rolle may be moved to the nickel defensive back position, but Rolle said he has not heard that from the team's coaches. "I feel I'm a starter, and I'm going to approach it that way until I'm told differently, or somebody beats me out," Rolle said.

Lee Rasizer, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports the Denver Broncos are trying to work out a contract with free-agent S Marlon McCree (Chargers). There was some talk in NFL circles Friday, March 7, that the Broncos were out of the running for McCree's services.

Lee Rasizer, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports free-agent PK Jason Elam (Broncos) is not considering retirement if he doesn't re-sign with the Denver Broncos, according to his agent, Jack Reale. Reale said Elam already has visits planned for next week.
