Texans | D. Robinson said he will play in 2008

Nick Scurfield, of HoustonTexans.com, reports Houston Texans CB Dunta Robinson (knee, hamstring) said he will play in 2008. "I'm thinking I'm probably playing 10-12 games next season. I'll probably start the year off on Physically Unable to Perform (list) and I think that's either 4-6 games that I'll be out, and I'll be back. I'll be back way ahead of schedule," Robinson said.
Steelers | Harrison arrested Saturday

Jim McKinnon, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison was arrested Saturday, March 8, on charges that he assaulted his girlfriend. Harrison was arraigned on charges of simple assault and criminal mischief. According to the affidavit filed in support of the arrest, Beth Tibbott and Harrison were arguing at her residence when she locked herself in a bedroom. Harrison broke down the door and when Tibbott tried to call 911, he took her cell phone and broke it in half, according to the affidavit. Tibbott said he then hit her with an open hand in the face, knocking off her glasses. Police said her left cheek showed "red marks."
49ers | Rice says Bruce can wear No. 80

Matt Maiocco, of The Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports former San Francisco 49ers WR Jerry Rice said WR Isaac Bruce can wear No. 80 if he wants. Bruce has not commented on what uniform number he wants to wear. Rice wore No. 80 from 1985-2000, but the team has not retired the number.

Mark Cannizzaro, of the New York Post, reports New York Jets DT Dewayne Robertson could return to the Jets in 2008. A source said it's "50-50" he will return to the team.
