Points off turnovers is about as telling as a conventional stat gets, maybe outside of yards per pass attempt. And we've been terrible in it this season. Usually, it's on the defense, but on Monday we forced two turnovers, and still couldn't get a FG.
This is a great point you bring up and something that's totally underpublicized. The defense DID come through in the first half at least, and the offense didn't do anything with those sudden change opportunities.
