Look, this is the NFL, not Pop Warner football. Players need to make sure they achieve financial security through football, if they can. His agent needs to look out for him now. If need be, his agent needs to protect him from himself.
At this point JC should know that he can't trust Snyder at all. If I were his agent, he would not be engaged in
any football activity where he could be injured until I negotiated a new contract with a whole lot of guaranteed money for him. Snyder could then choose to either pay JC or to go into the season with Todd Collins as his starter. And you'd better believe that there would be a nasty media campaign waged by my side, if necessary.
