I don't think this is just wishful thinking at all. I think you have successfully fingered the truth. I think it's all a frickin' ruse and it is working. I would add that this ruse also affects a possible trade-down with teams like the qb hungry Jets if Denver doesn't take the bait and Sanchez is there at 13. I rarely use this word to describe our FO but I think this ploy is brilliant.
