But the odd thing is that Zorn didn't stick to his WC system ENOUGH, IMO. Why run Portis on 1st down? Because, hey, you've got a 1400 yard back, Buges as a line coach, it's the NFC east, you've got to control ToP, etc. That looked like Gibbs II, not the WC. I think maybe we need to move away a bit from the Buges/Gibbs stuff and throw to set up the run. We haven't done enough of that yet.

I almost don't have a problem with the team trying to run so much. It wears down the defense, but by mid to late 3rd quarter they needed to dump the run and pass only to catch up
and surpass the Giants. but what I do have a problem with is teams know to stop the Skins all they have to do is stop the run. Force us to go to the air. Until the Skins can step back and throw the ball down field either intermediate or long to force the other team to pull back off the line more often this is what we are going to see.
Then the announcers simply had to rub it in saying the first time defensive co-ordinator is doing a great job with no name mediocre talent. "He's got them playing together."
and yes the lack of adjustment is pissing me off also.
