In the prior 10 years, we spent high draft choices on Samuels, Jansen, and a few years before that, Cory Raymer and Tre Johnson. Yes, during this 10 year stretch, we got Randy Thomas and Casey Rabach as FA's in their prime, but other than drafting Dockery in the 3rd round, I can't think of another successful O-lineman that we've drafted since Samuels. The one year that Marty ran our draft, I thought that he made a fatal mistake when he passed on Steve Hutchinson and selected Rod Gardner. Samuels, Hutchinson, and Jansen would have been the 2nd coming of The Hogs.
