The good folks at SportsFan magazine post some of my rants on their website -
www.sportsfanmagazine.com. This morning, they asked all their contributors to send them a Super Bowl pick and a short comment. Here is what I sent them:
Eagles, 28-27
Terrell Owens catches a 75-yard pass down the sidelines with 10 seconds to play; he falls when his ankle breaks again at the 10 yardline; the ball squirts into the endzone where Freddie Mitchell wrestles it away from Rodney Harrison. In the ensuing celebration on the sidelines, Donovan McNabb reaches down the back of his pants and pulls out a picture of Rush Limbaugh. Andy Reid leaps into the air and when he lands there is an earthquake off the coast of Jacksonville that creates a tsunami, which inundates every Caribbean island. Other than that, it's your typical boring Super Bowl game...
