Brings big-time athletic ability to the table for a quarterback prospect. Has a strong arm and above average speed and elusiveness. Showed positive leadership ability in quarterbacking his team to the state title as a high school senior. Physical enough player to also play linebacker or fullback should quarterback not work out. Needs to work on accuracy, touch, and gain a better grasp of the fundamentals of the passing game.

Bulaga is a tremendous jumbo athlete who plays tight end while also acting as a sixth offensive lineman in high school. He projects as an offensive tackle in college with his excellent footwork, big frame and long arms. He has plenty of room to fill out, although it’s doubtful he’ll end up too much over 300 pounds. He is a bit raw as a blocker, often turning players inside rather than engaging them, but when he gets his hands on an opponent and locks up, he’s successful at holding his block. Bulaga could also be a standout defensive tackle in college with his quickness off the football and his motor.

Anthony Davis:
4 Star Prospect

Class:2007 (High School)
Quote:
Davis is a huge offensive tackle who locks up quickly and can overpower the competition with his sheer size. He has good agility but his strength is enveloping defenders in the run game and getting out of his stance quickly in pass protection. Davis extends his arms well and likes to hit, using a strong left-handed stiff arm to knock defenders off balance in pass protection. He likes to punch, slide his feet, anchor and punch again, an aggressive pass blocking technique. Davis is more likely a right tackle or a guard prospect unless he improves his footwork, but he will be a load to run behind and is very solid in pass protection. Davis anchors very well and has a strong base, allowing him to handle even the best bull rush attempts. He also avoids over-stepping and stays on balance for counter moves. Davis plays high at time and while he’s successful getting to the next level often, he has trouble with moving targets at times. A very good athlete for his size, Davis relies more on sheer bulk and size at the high school level and needs to work more on his ability to move.

Jimmy Clausen:
5 Star Prospect (Postion Rank: 1/National Rank: 1)
Ht:6'3"
Wt:200 lbs
40:4.7 secs
Class:2007 (HS - December Grad)
Quote:
Clausen is as mechanically developed as any quarterback in the last decade. He has a very quick release he delivers from ear level, a strong arm and excellent accuracy. Clausen is mobile enough to get outside the pocket when needed and throws well on the run. He has excellent feet, makes quick and smart decisions and displays excellent poise and pocket presence. Clausen throws a nice deep ball, but his strength is in the intermediate passing game where he can deliver the ball with the most zip. He leads his targets well and knows how to throw the ball in tight coverage, putting it where only his receiver can catch it. Clausen gets into his drops quickly and sets well before most of his throws. He has good ball skills but needs to sell play action a bit better. He needs to add strength and fill out his frame.
