Defensive minded HCs often go with better talent on O, thinking they can "coach up" any limitations in defensive personnel.
EDIT: Actually it does reinforce my stance on Bradford, I've said all along that I anticipate he'll be a solid QB, but will take some time to get up to speed. I don't think he's worth the #4 overall, much less the #1 overall pick. I've said if Clausen was gone and the choice for us was Bradford or Okung, I go with Okung (safe, solid choice).
Of course, the rumor on Spags has no relation to my stance on Clausen.
